How parlay odds combine

A parlay combines multiple outcomes into one proposition. Every outcome generally has to be correct for the combined proposition to succeed, which makes it higher variance than considering one outcome at a time. What changes when outcomes are combined?

A combined proposition links several outcomes. The chance that all outcomes are correct is generally lower than the chance that any one outcome is correct. That increased uncertainty is the central reason to treat the format cautiously.
